Higher Health is a high-quality private duty health care organization, designed exclusively for residents of The Bluffs Senior Community. From our office on the first floor of The Bluffs, we bring to residents a high standard of care that is affordable and readily accessible 24 hours a day.  With years of experience in health care, our committed staff of two registered nurses, a licensed practical nurse, and numerous health care aides offer you daily assistance on various levels of need, making excellence our standard of care. 

As life progresses, too often small things in our daily routines such as rising, bathing, and dressing become barriers to the enjoyment of life.  With assistance from our trained staff, these things can remain small, so that enjoying the comfort and joy of life is the main focus. 

Because needs differ among individuals, we have structured the health care plans into three levels. Whether you simply need assistance with prescription medications, or twenty-four hour care, it is readily available through Higher Health. When you sign up for services provided by Higher Health, our nursing staff develops and monitors a plan of care that is specific to you and is carried out by the Health Care Aides. 

We offer assistance with the activities of daily living including:

• Well-being checks throughout the day and night
• Daily rising and going to bed assistance
• Daily assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Daily assistance with skincare/lotions/ointments
• Routine assistance with any and all restroom needs
• Routine transportation to meals, activities, etc.
• Reminders of meals, activities, etc.
• Daily assistance with eating and drinking
• Medication monitoring/assistance
